Community Guidelines

Last updated: February 1, 2026

Kineke exists to foster meaningful connections built on shared interests. These guidelines help keep the platform welcoming, inclusive, and safe for every member. By using Kineke you agree to follow these rules.

Be Respectful

Kineke is a space for everyone. Treat others the way you'd like to be treated. Disagreements are natural, but personal attacks, name-calling, and deliberately inflammatory language have no place here.

Celebrate diverse perspectives. Engage with curiosity rather than hostility, and remember there is a real person on the other side of every profile.

No Harassment or Bullying

Harassment includes repeated unwanted contact, threats, doxxing, and coordinated targeting of individuals or groups. Any form of bullying—whether overt or subtle—will result in immediate action.

If someone asks you to stop contacting them, respect that boundary. Use the block and mute features to manage your own experience, and report behaviour that crosses the line.

Content Standards

Post content that adds value. Spam, misleading clickbait, and artificially generated engagement (e.g., bot networks) degrade the experience for everyone.

Do not share illegal content, graphic violence, or non-consensual intimate imagery. Content that promotes self-harm, dangerous challenges, or substance abuse will be removed immediately.

Intellectual property matters. Only share content you have the right to distribute, and give proper credit to creators.

Marketplace Rules

All Marketplace listings must be honest and accurate. Misrepresenting products, services, or pricing is grounds for suspension.

Prohibited items include counterfeit goods, stolen property, regulated substances, weapons, and anything illegal in the buyer's or seller's jurisdiction.

Disputes should first be resolved directly between parties. If that fails, use the in-app dispute resolution process. Deliberately abusing the dispute system is a violation.

Privacy & Safety

Respect others' privacy. Do not share personal information—addresses, phone numbers, financial details—without explicit consent.

Protect your own account by enabling two-factor authentication, using a strong password, and never sharing your credentials. Kineke will never ask for your password via DM.

If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact support immediately.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, use the in-app "Report" button on any post, profile, or message. Reports are confidential—we will never reveal who filed a report.

Provide as much context as possible so our Trust & Safety team can act quickly. Screenshots, links, and timestamps all help.

False or malicious reporting is itself a violation and may result in action against the reporter.

Consequences

Violations are handled on a case-by-case basis. Depending on severity and history, actions may include a warning, temporary suspension, feature restrictions, or permanent ban.

Repeat offenders face escalating consequences. Particularly egregious conduct—such as threats of violence or sexual exploitation—will result in an immediate permanent ban and may be referred to law enforcement.

We reserve the right to update these guidelines as the platform evolves. Continued use of Kineke constitutes acceptance of the most recent version.
